On-course lessons - Taiheiyo Club Yachiyo course.

No! We provide all the equipment necessary for range and on-course lessons. Once the lessons are completed, we can help with suggestions of what clubs to buy and where to buy them. 

More seasoned players are welcome to bring their own equipment to the lessons, but we are also happy to supply the clubs. 

We have training clubs that can be purchased for 15,000 yen. They are brand new Titleist men’s and ladies’ clubs with a training grip. 

There are golf ranges and golf simulators all over Tokyo! A quick search can help you find a location near where you live. 

For beginners, we suggest weekly lessons.

For more seasoned golfers, we recommend 2 to 4 weeks between lessons.

We do expect our students to practice between lessons as well as play on the course. This makes the lessons more worthwhile and provides more intel to us when we have a lesson to ascertain how the player is trending. 

Katsutadai Station is the closest train station to the course. Exit is A3 north exit. There is a taxi stand at the top of the stairs. It’s about 10 minutes to the course and approximately 3,000 yen. 

As we are located on top of a train station, we always suggest people arrive by train. Unfortunately, the RaRa shopping centre doesn’t have a car park. However, there is a Times parking lot about 100 yards from the range.

For range lessons please wear something comfortable to swing in. Running or athletic type shoes are usually best. The range is outdoor so dress appropriately for the weather. 

For on course lessons you will be expected to wear golf attire. Including golf shoes if possible. Please chat to Joe if you have any concerns about this matter. 

If you have friends or family that play you should start playing with them. Any opportunity to play is a great chance to improve your golf! The best way to improve your golf is to play as often as you can. 

If you are a single player there are 3 large golfing groups in Tokyo. They are always looking for additional players. Please talk to us if you are interested in joining these groups. 

Range lessons are available Mondays to Fridays from 10 am. The last lesson is conducted at 8-9 pm.

On course lessons are available weekdays and also weekends.

After we have decided which package of lessons is best, we will send an invoice to you on either email, LINE or WhatsApp. It can be settled via bank transfer. We do also accept cash but do prefer a bank transfer.
